We are not your typical commercial trail ride service!
Don’t get us wrong! 1-2 hour horseback rides are great for those who are seeking a short ride with some good views!
Our trail rides are for those seeking a thrilling adventure down trails through hearty terrain and up a mountain that leads to an unforgettable destination!!!
Our rides begin by meeting our clients off site at one of several trailheads that lead to different lakes in Fossil Ridge Wilderness
You will bring your own lunch, drinks etc. We provide the necessary equipment for you to pack your food and personal items in to take up the mountain.
We pack up the horses at the trailhead and take the trail up to the lake of choice where we have a picnic by the lake!!
After lunch, you may want to kick back and relax, explore the lake for a bit or you can even throw a line or 2 if time permits!
After spending a short while at the lake we pack up and return back to the trailhead!
Picture this: riding a horse as you embark on a thrilling 5 hour ride through the breathtaking mountains. The sun is shining, the air is crisp, as we hit the trails!
As you mosey along the winding paths, keep your eyes peeled for stunning views that will take your breath away—think towering peaks, lush valleys, and maybe even see moose, mountain goats or big horned sheep! Feel the excitement as you bond with your horse and soak in the wild beauty surrounding you.
We will share stories of the mountains as well as some history along the way, while ensuring you stay safe and comfortable. Whether you’re a newbie or a seasoned rider, there's a trail just for you. Take in the sights and sounds of nature, let your worries fade away, and simply enjoy the ride.
After exploring the best of what the mountains have to offer, you'll return with plenty of lasting memories! Don't forget to bring your camera—this is one experience you'll want to relive! I will also be taking photos of you and your group the entire time!! And…I won’t charge you for them at the end like cruise ships do!! Haha

As I said, We are not your typical trail ride service! All of our rides are offsite! We meet our clients at a designated trailhead. We pack up and take the trail to a lake where we have a delicious picnic lunch, provided by us!
*Fishing, relaxing, or exploring at the lake is allowed if time permits!

If you’re the adventurous type, gear up for an unforgettable overnight pack trip! We’ll whisk you away into the heart of the wilderness, where we set up camp by a stunning lake, relax without a care in the world, and breathe in the fresh mountain air.
Imagine casting a line in the shimmering water, exploring scenic trails, and cooking up delicious meals over an open fire. The night sky comes alive with a dazzling display of stars that’s simply unimaginable until you witness it yourself!
To top it all off you will enjoy savory meals made with ingredients from our organically derived vegetables, fresh eggs from our pasture raised & organically fed hens. All of our meats are either grass fed or wild game harvested by us! Each evening meal is followed by dutch-oven dessert (if there’s room in your tummy) & relaxing by a cozy campfire.
And of course, what’s a camping trip without s'mores?
These adventures are designed with the whole family in mind! Yes, even though we do have an age limit, we love taking the kiddos! That makes this an ideal getaway for all!
